Childbirth Education Evening
This four-week course offers information about stages of labor and delivery, relaxation techniques and what to expect during your hospital stay. Included is a tour of the Boven Birth Center.

Childbirth Education Weekend
This all day Saturday course offers information about stages of labor and delivery, relaxation techniques and what to expect during your hospital stay. Included is a tour of the Boven Birth Center and lunch for two.

Childbirth Refresher
This refresher of the Expectant Parent Class brings you up-to-date on the latest delivery, breathing and relaxation techniques. Taught in a group setting, this class focuses on what the group wants to review.

Childbirth for Teens
This class, for the expectant teen and her support person(s), will discuss labor and delivery, relaxation techniques, parenting skills, infant care, and feeding. Included is a tour of the Boven Birth Center and lunch.

Getting Ready to Breastfeed
This one-night class will give you the practical information needed to get started. Topics include positioning, latch and duration of breastfeeding. In addition, you will learn techniques that will help you to go back to work or school while still successfully breastfeeding your baby. Partners are strongly encouraged to attend and learn how you are an important part of this process.

Extreme Babysitting
Kids ages nine to twelve learn basic child care principles, simple first aid and how to handle emergencies, as well as other tips for more confident babysitting. Class includes the books "Babysitting 101" and the American Heart Associations "First Aid for Children".

Prenatal Yoga
Gentle techniques designed just for pregnant women. Emphasis is on alignment and conditioning to enhance pregnancy, birth and recovery.

I'm a New Big Brother/Big Sister
Help your children, ages 2 to 6+, adjust to the arrival of a new brother or sister. Class includes a tour of the Boven Birth Center and a "I'm a new Big Brother (Sister)" t-shirt.

Family and Friends CPR
This course teaches participants how to perform CPR on adults, children and infants and how to help someone who is choking. This course is for family members, friends and members of the general community who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card.

Extreme CPR
Have you been waiting for a follow up to the "Extreme Babysitting" class? Well, here it is! This two-hour class will take kids ages 10-15 through the American Heart Association's "CPR for Family and Friends" course. It will teach them how to perform CPR on adults, children and infants and how to help someone who is choking.

Boven Birth Center Orientation and Tour
This is a great way to acquaint yourself with the birth center if you are not taking a childbirth class. Whether this is your first time delivering at Holland Hospital or you just want a refresher, come and see our updated birthing rooms and facility.
